2008: Multiplicity: The Art of the Furniture Prototype
opened at the Neuberger Museum of Art, Purchase College, State University of New York, on June 15, 2008, in conjunction with the 12th annual Society conference, and closed on September 14, 2008.

2006: Show Us Your Drawers
Show Us Your Drawers opened at the Herron School of Art, Indianapolis, June 7, 2006, in conjunction with the 10th annual Society conference. The exhibition featured the work of 29 Society members.

2004: Curv-iture
Curv-iture opened in Savannah, GA, in 2004 in conjunction with the 8th annual Society conference, and traveled to several venues around the country through late 2005. The exhibition featured the work of 35 Society members.

2004: The Maker's Hand — in partnership with The Museum of Fine Art, Boston

2003: Cabinets of Curiosities — in partnership with The Wood Turning Center, Philadelphia

2003: WilsonArt Invitational — in partnership with WilsonArt

2002: The Right Stuff
The Right Stuff opened in Madison, WI, in June 2002 in conjunction with the 6th annual Society conference, and traveled extensively around the country.

2001: Editors Choice: Tradition in Contemporary Furniture — in partnership with SOFA (Chicago). Invitational show featuring work that appeared in the Society book Furniture Studio: Tradition in Contemporary Furniture. Nine Society members are featured.

1999: The Circle Unbroken: Continuity and Innovation in Studio Furniture
The Circle Unbroken was mounted at the Appalachian Center for Craft in Smithville, Tennessee in June, 1999, in conjunction with the 3rd annual Society conference. This was the Furniture Society's first major juried exhibition, featuring work by 30 Society members.

1997: Contemporary North American Furniture was the first official Furniture Society exhibition of any kind. This was an invitational show featuring the work of 32 Society members.
