Thomas Hucker

Thomas Hucker is a 2016 recipient of the Furniture Society's Award of Distinction. In 1980, he received his Certificate of Mastery from Boston University’s Program in Artisanry where he studied with Jere Osgood, a 2002 Award of Distinction recipient. In 1982 Hucker was an artist-in-residence at Tokyo University of Fine Arts and, in 1989, he received a Fulbright grant to study interior and industrial design at Domus Academy in Milan, Italy. Today, he maintains his studio in Hoboken, NJ where he designs and makes mostly one-of-a-kind pieces of furniture.
